Nintendo has announced the launch of a new special edition Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, featuring a unique design from the upcoming game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The console will be available from April 28 at a suggested retail price of $359.99.
The special edition design includes the Hylian Crest from The Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock. Additionally, Nintendo is releasing two accessories with designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (MSRP $74.99) and a Nintendo Switch carrying case (MSRP $24.99), which will be available from May 12.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to release on May 12, and pre-orders for the game, console, and accessories are now available. The game is a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and players can explore the vast world of Hyrule and its floating islands. The game offers the freedom to decide one’s own path through the game’s world and includes new abilities for protagonist Link to fight against evil forces.
