Actress Melissa Joan Hart recounted how she and her husband came to the aid of a group of kindergarten students who were fleeing from the Nashville school shooting earlier this week. In an emotional video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, Hart revealed that her children attend a school next to the Covenant School where the shooting occurred. She explained that she and her husband were on their way to attend her children’s school conferences when they encountered the children who were trying to escape the shooter by crossing a busy highway. She added that they helped the kids cross the road and reunite with their teachers and parents. Hart, who had previously experienced the trauma of a school shooting, said that she recorded the video on Monday, but it was too raw to share at that time. She ended the video by saying, “Enough is enough.”
